Recovery Hospital
Where the Chainsaw Man first woke up.
In the world of Chainsaw Man, Denji receives critical medical attention immediately following his transformation into the Chainsaw Devil. While the narrative confirms he was treated at a hospital to stabilize his condition after the events of Chapter 1, this facility remains unnamed and is referred to only as a generic Public Safety or municipal hospital within the story's urban setting.
Lore & Background
Following his death and subsequent merger with Pochita, which formed a new arrangement for revival, Denji is found by Makima and taken to a hospital for emergency treatment. This location serves as the setting where he first encounters the Public Safety Devil Hunters after waking up from his coma. Aki Hayakawa was never a patient here; he met his end in his own apartment when possessed as a Gun Fiend by the power of the Gun Devil, ultimately killed by Denji.
Reader's Guide
It does describe how to handle the zombies from The Video Dead: they can be tricked into believing they are dead by wounding and dismembering them, but must remain unburied. Alternatively, trapping them in an enclosed space causes a psychotic state leading to cannibalism. Mirrors repel them because it reminds them of their hideousness, and they only attack when they sense fear.
