Pete Laframboise
Canadian forward who played in both the NHL and WHA.

Laframboise, a Canadian pro hockey player, spent the 1970s in the NHL with the California Golden Seals, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Washington Capitals, and also suited up for the Edmonton Oilers in the WHA.
Playing career
Laframboise played junior hockey for the Oshawa Generals and Ottawa 67's. After being selected by the California Golden Seals in the 1970 NHL entry draft, he joined the Providence Reds for the 1970–71 season. He moved to the Baltimore Clippers in 1971–72 and made his NHL debut that season with the Seals.
He played three seasons with the Golden Seals, then joined the Capitals for 1974–75 before being traded to Pittsburgh. The next season he played for the Hershey Bears and did not return to the NHL. He later played two seasons with the Springfield Indians with a call-up to the Edmonton Oilers of the WHA, and finished with the Binghamton Dusters in 1978–79.
