Career

The vocal harmony group was formed in 1994 by Roger Ratajczak, Phillip Rodell, Neil Watts, and Lee Missen. British producer and songwriter Nicky Graham discovered the band, and they were later signed by Polydor Records. In 1996 they entered the Great British Song Contest, the UK's precursor to the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song "I Gave You Everything" and finished as runners-up to Gina G. Their debut album Scarlet arrived in 1997 and produced the UK hits "This Is Our Song", "Is There Someone Out There?", and a cover of Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk".

The band achieved substantial success in South East Asia, scoring numerous number one hit singles across multiple markets. In 1997 they won best new pop act at the Channel V Music Awards in Delhi, India, where they performed their hit "We Can Make It" as a duet with Asha Bhosle. Between 1996 and 2000 they undertook large-scale tours of the region, including a sellout show at the National Stadium, Singapore in 1998. In June 1997 they performed at the Handover Ceremony celebrating Hong Kong's reclaimed independence.

The band appeared in the Sooty & Co. Christmas special 1997 episode "Fun In The Snow", performing "If You Go Away". Two years later they released Missin You Already on Telstar Records, featuring the hits "What Would You Do If...?" and "What Good Is a Heart", the latter reaching number 2 on the MTV Asia Hitlist. Their third and final album Crimson came out in 2000, and the group disbanded in 2001.
