Plot

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie are siblings evacuated from London due to World War II air raids. At their temporary home, they find a wardrobe that is a portal to the magical land of Narnia. There, they join a war against the White Witch and help restore the true ruler, the lion Aslan, serving as kings and queens before returning to their own world. Later, the four Pevensie children are pulled back into Narnia by a magical force while waiting at a train station, where they aid Prince Caspian in overthrowing his evil uncle, King Miraz, and claiming the throne. In England, Edmund and Lucy visit their cousin Eustace Scrubb, and all three are drawn into a painting of Caspian's ship, the Dawn Treader. Caspian, now a young man, is on a quest to find seven lords who were friends of his late father, sailing through dangerous waters and encountering strange islands, ultimately reaching the end of the world. Eustace Scrubb, with a schoolmate named Jill Pole, flees bullies and passes through a doorway into Aslan's country. Eustace falls off a cliff but is blown to Narnia. Jill meets Aslan, who tells her that King Caspian's son, Prince Rilian, has disappeared. Jill must memorise four signs to guide her and Eustace to Rilian. Aslan sends Jill to Narnia, where she reunites with Eustace near Cair Paravel, and they follow the signs to rescue the lost prince, returning with him shortly before the elderly Caspian dies.
