Characters

Mike, an eight-year-old knight-in-training, aspires to become a knight like his father. He is voiced by Jake Beale, later Trek Buccino, in North America and by Benjamin Baker in the United Kingdom. His horse is named Galahad. Mike's younger sister Evie is a wizard-in-training who joins him on missions whenever possible, though her magic often goes awry; she is voiced by Erin Pitt in North America and by Jessica Hann in the United Kingdom. Evie's pet frog and best friend is Mr. Cuddles. Sparkie is a large red fire-breathing dragon voiced by Martin Roach in North America and Colin McFarlane in the United Kingdom. Squirt is a small blue water-squirting dragon voiced by Andrew Sabiston in North America and Russell Tovey in the United Kingdom. Flutter, Squirt's younger sister, is also a water-squirting dragon but appears infrequently, usually with her parents. Queen Martha, Mike and Evie's mother and the King's wife, is wise and kind; she is voiced by Alyson Court in North America and Beth Chalmers in the United Kingdom. The King, Martha's husband and the children's father, is absent in earlier episodes due to adventures but appears in multiple episodes of the third season. Queen Martha's corgis are Yip, who wears a blue collar, and Yap, who wears a red collar; they often get into trouble because of Mike's knightly interests or Evie's magic, and both are voiced by Robert Tinkler. Fernando the bard performs ditties that begin and end each episode; he is voiced by Scott McCord in North America and Russell Tovey in the United Kingdom. Trollee is a shy troll and one of Mike's friends, voiced by Nissae Isen in North America and Samantha Reynolds in the United Kingdom; his parents are Mr. Troll and Mrs. Troll. Richard and his younger brother Peter are companions. Edward is a knight-in-training from a different kingdom and Mike's rival. Robin and Marian are young children who sometimes help out. The Great Walforfini is an elderly wizard who occasionally teaches Evie. Mrs. Piecrust, a baker who produces pies, is often rescued by Mike and is voiced by Sarah Carbanoose. Mr. Blacksmith is the town blacksmith and has a son.
