"...And the Bag's in the River" is the third episode of the first season of Breaking Bad, written by Vince Gilligan and directed by Adam Bernstein; it aired on AMC on February 10, 2008. Walt and Jesse clean up the remains of Emilio while Krazy-8 stays locked up in the basement of Jesse's house. Skyler learns that Walt quit his car wash job two weeks earlier and tells him not to come home. After telling Krazy-8 about his lung cancer, Walt decides to let him go, then notices a large shard missing from a broken plate; when Krazy-8 attacks him with it, Walt kills him with the bike lock. Meanwhile, Hank and DEA agents find the desert cook site and Krazy-8's car, with the small bag of Walt's crystal meth inside.
