Bobby Orr (born March 20, 1948) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 12 NHL seasons, the first 10 with the Boston Bruins. He won the Hart Trophy as league MVP three consecutive times.

Orr won the Hart Trophy three consecutive times. He is the only defenceman to have won the league scoring title with two Art Ross Trophies. He holds the record for most assists in a single season by a defenceman (102) and holds the record for most points in a single season by a defenceman (139). Orr won a record eight consecutive Norris Trophies.

Orr joined the Bruins in 1966. The team had not won the Stanley Cup since 1941 and had not made the playoffs since 1959. With Orr, the Bruins won the Cup in 1970 and 1972. Both times Orr scored the clinching goal and was named playoff MVP.
