Flight-Plan created Stone of Beginnings, the third action RPG in the Summon Night Swordcraft Story line for the Game Boy Advance. It follows the second game but, unlike its two predecessors, never saw a release beyond Japan, arriving there on December 8, 2005.

Plot
The protagonist, a Craftknight apprentice of Rob and partner to the summon beast V.E., became separated from Rob when he was killed by a summon beast, leaving V.E. as the new master. The protagonist was looked down upon because V.E. was a Stray Summon and also the boss. One day an unknown summon beast injured V.E., and after chasing it the protagonist met a girl named Murno. After saving her from Bostaph's men, the protagonist learned the beast was Murno's guardian. Murno moved in to help V.E., her guardian became the protagonist's partner, and the protagonist vowed to protect Murno, becoming involved in events threatening the world of Lyndbaum.
Characters
Ritchburn is the male lead, voiced by Sayaka Aida. Rifmonica is the female lead, voiced by Ai Shimizu. Run-Dor, a machine from the mechanoid world of Loreilal, is the Power Type Guardian Beast with destructive attacks and strong defense but the slowest speed; his primary magic is lightning and his special spell restores weapon durability. He is voiced by Kouji Ishii. Enzi, a demon from the world of Silturn, is the Speed Type Guardian Beast, fastest but with weakest special attacks; his primary magic is fire. He is voiced by Bin Shimada. Killfith, a spirit from the world of Sapureth, is the Aviation Type Guardian Beast, able to fly but physically weakest; his primary magic is water and his special spell is revival. He is voiced by Mitsuki Saiga. Rufeel, a beast creature from the world of Maetropa, is the Balance Type Guardian Beast with well-rounded abilities but lowest magical power; her primary magic is wind. She is voiced by Mamiko Noto. Murno, a mysterious girl familiar with the Guardian Beast, is sweet and apologetic but knows how to stand her ground, voiced by Rie Tanaka. V.E., the protagonist's Craftknight teacher since Master Rob died and a Summon Creature acting as an elder sister, is voiced by Emi Shinohara. Jade, a former partner of Rob and friend of V.E., takes on a big brother role, voiced by Mamoru Miyano. Lemmy, a sometimes-rival with a curt exterior who works at Master Bostaph's workshop, is voiced by Miyu Irino. Tier, the daughter of innkeepers obsessed with money, is voiced by Asami Sanada.
