The air in the shattered valley tasted of ozone and old blood. Kaelen knelt beside the fallen soldier, whose chest was a gaping void where reality had simply ceased to exist. The Azarinth's wild magic swirled around them, eager to consume what remained. With a deep breath, Kaelen raised his right hand, the Gauntlet of the Iron Healer humming with a low, resonant thrum that silenced the wind. As he pressed his palm against the void, golden light erupted from the metal fingers, not burning but knitting. The soldier gasped as flesh and bone reformed in seconds, the chaotic edges of the wound smoothing into whole skin. Kaelen staggered back, a shadow of exhaustion crossing his face as the gauntlet absorbed the scream of the mended reality.

The Gauntlet functions by converting ambient Aetheric energy into a stabilizing field that forces biological and spatial matter to return to their 'ideal' state. To activate it, the user must focus on the concept of wholeness, visualizing the target as it should be rather than how it is.

Its primary limitation is the Law of Equivalent Dissonance: every injury healed transfers a fraction of that trauma's spiritual weight into the wearer's psyche. Prolonged use without mental cleansing can lead to 'Echo Madness,' where the Healer begins to feel all the pain they have ever erased simultaneously.

The artifact cannot resurrect the dead, nor can it heal wounds caused by soul-severing curses; it only works on physical and reality-based trauma. The gauntlet also requires a constant supply of pure Aether, meaning it is less effective in 'Dead Zones' where magic is absent.
