In April 2014, at PKO Studios, the entire Real Madrid first team gathered around microphones: Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Luka Modrić, Xabi Alonso, Angel Di Maria, Isco, Marcelo, and manager Carlo Ancelotti. They recorded the anthem that RedOne had composed years earlier on a plane between Madrid and Morocco. The song was then played before the Copa del Rey Final against Barcelona and Champions League knockout matches against Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid, pushing the squad toward La Décima. After that 10th Champions League title, the anthem was released to the public. It topped the 2014 iTunes chart in Spain and 17 other countries. At the Bernabéu, it is now regularly played and sung by fans before matches and after a Real Madrid player scores a goal.
