Korea Girl's sound has been categorized as indie rock, indie pop, slacker rock, and twee pop. The band employed clean, undistorted guitars and both male and female vocals, drawing comparison to earlier groups like Blake Babies. Mori cited Pavement's "Slanted and Enchanted" as an influence during recording. A 1999 review described their music as sweet indie-pop with enough energy for rock, retaining sincerity and gentleness without becoming overly soft.
