Reader's Guide
Buster begins as a timid, medicated child who relies entirely on his therapist to navigate daily life. His arc is less about growth and more about enduring the relentless absurdity of his family's antics without losing his mind.
Key moments include his panic-induced hallucinations and his eventual discovery of acting, which offers him an escape from reality. However, he rarely evolves beyond his core fears, often reverting to childlike dependency when stressed.
His relationship with Dr. M remains the cornerstone of his character, highlighting how his mental health issues are both a source of comedy and genuine tragedy within the show's dark humor.
