Titanosaur
Cretaceous-era giants that inhabited Zealandia after its separation from Gondwana.
The Titanosaur, formally known as Patagotitan, is one of the largest creatures in the game, towering over even the Giganotosaurus. It is a fairly peaceful creature that roams the land in search of food, but if attacked, it becomes a fearsome and deadly foe capable of causing phenomenal damage. Once tamed, the Titanosaur does not eat, so it will live until it starves to death, choosing death by starvation rather than life in captivity.

Lore & Background
During the Cretaceous period, New Zealand was part of the supercontinent Gondwana before separating approximately 85 million years ago. Following this rift, dinosaurs continued to prosper in the region for about 10–20 million years, evolving unique species in physical isolation. The source specifically identifies titanosaurs as one of the dinosaur groups endemic to New Zealand during this time, based on fossil evidence found in the Tahora Formation. These creatures lived alongside other endemic fauna such as parankylosaurs, elasmarian ornithopods, and theropods. While angiosperms diversified, generalist browsers like several families of sauropodomorph Saurischia prevailed before the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event eliminated all non-avian dinosaurs.

- After separating from Gondwana approximately 85 million years ago, New Zealand's dinosaur population had about 10–20 million years to evolve unique species before going extinct.
- New Zealand was located much further south (around 80 degrees south) during the Cretaceous period than it is today, yet remained covered in trees due to a warmer and wetter climate.
