1967 South American Championship
Uruguay crowned champions after defeating Argentina 1–0 in the decisive match
The 1967 South American Championship was the 29th edition of the competition, hosted by Uruguay from 17 January to 2 February 1967. It was contested by Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Uruguay were crowned champions for the 11th time after defeating Argentina 1–0 in the final and decisive match of the round-robin tournament.
