Fawn Girard
American barebow archer, World Field Champion and four-time Pan American Champion.
Fawn Girard (born December 20, 1978) is an American archer who competes in women's barebow events. She holds the titles of World Field Champion and four-time Pan American Champion.
Girard first represented the United States internationally at the 2017 World Archery 3D Championships. At the 2019 World Archery 3D Championships, she earned a bronze medal in the team competition. In October 2022, she reached the bronze medal match at the World Field Archery Championships but lost 37–41 to Megumi Masaki. That November, she took silver in both the individual and team events at the Pan American Archery Championships.
At the 2023 Pan American Archery Championships, Girard won gold in the individual and mixed team events, along with a silver in the women's team event. In September 2024, she captured gold in the individual event at the World Field Archery Championships, becoming the first American barebow champion since Becky Nelson-Harris in 2008; she also added silver medals in the women's team and mixed team events. She claimed a bronze medal in the individual event at the 2025 World Games, and in October 2025, she won gold in both the individual and team events at the Pan American Field Archery Championships.
Outside of archery, Girard works as an intervention specialist for Hillsboro City Schools, teaching third-grade math.
