Megan Havers (born 2 December 2007) is a British recurve archer who represented Great Britain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. At 16, she was the youngest archer selected for those Games and also shot the very first arrow of the women’s ranking round on 24 July 2024.
Havers first tried archery during a family holiday. She grew up in Leicester, England, and attended South Charnwood High School in Markfield. She received her GCSE results on 22 August 2024, just weeks after the Olympics, and passed every subject except PE.
In 2023, she won a bronze medal in the mixed team event at the European Youth Cup in Switzerland. In June 2024, alongside Bryony Pitman and Penny Healey, she earned a team silver at the European Grand Prix. That same month, the trio secured Great Britain’s spot in the Olympic team event by finishing third at the final qualifier in Antalya, Turkey.
At the Paris Games, Havers reached the individual round of 16, where she was eliminated by Lim Si-hyeon, making her Britain’s top performer in the women’s competition.
