Abdullah Yorulmaz was born in 1983 in Denizli, Turkey. After completing his compulsory military service as a commando, he suffered a traffic accident in 2007 while riding his motorcycle to work. The accident broke his back, leaving him paralyzed in both legs, and he used a wheelchair for movement. He suffered greatly for years following the accident. In 2014, he married Sevgi Yorulmaz, also a wheelchair user, who later took up para archery and became a national team member. Yorulmaz started archery in 2013 and made his international debut in 2015. He is coached by Mursel Çokak and represents Denizli Büyükşehir Belediyespor. In March 2024, he won a gold medal with teammate Öznur Cüre in the mixed team event at the 8th Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In April 2025, he won the Turkish Para Archery Cup in Antalya and was called up to the national team. He competed at the 2025 World Para Archery Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, with Kenan Babaoğlu in the doubles compound open event, placing eighth.
