Dora, also known as *Dora: Say Hola to Adventure!*, is an animated children's series that premiered on Paramount+ on April 12, 2024. Created by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh Valdes, it reboots the original *Dora the Explorer* (2000–2019) and marks the fourth installment in that franchise. The show centers on the young Latina heroine Dora and her monkey companion Boots as they explore a fantastical rainforest, now aided by a female-voiced Map and a largely new cast of characters. Just twelve days after its debut, Paramount+ ordered a second season, which arrived on September 13, 2024. The series made its linear television debut on Nickelodeon on August 5, 2024. A third season followed, though its exact release date has not been officially confirmed. On November 12, 2025, the series was canceled alongside *Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles*, a decision tied to management changes from the Paramount-Skydance merger. The main characters include Dora Márquez (voiced by Diana Zermeño), an 8-year-old Latina girl; Boots (voiced by Asher Colton Spence), her anthropomorphic monkey best friend; and Swiper, an orange fox whose voice actor changed across seasons—Marc Weiner in seasons 1–2, AJ Beckles in season 3, and Kevin Andrew Rivera in season 4. Map (voiced by Anairis Quiñones) is now female, marking the first time Marc Weiner did not voice the character. Backpack (voiced by Katarina Sky) holds supplies, and the Grumpy Old Troll (voiced by Danny Burstein) poses riddles under a bridge—the first season without Chris Gifford in that role. Other friends include Tico the squirrel (voiced by Donovan Monzon-Sanders in seasons 1–2, then Logan J.
