Ninjago: Dragons Rising is an animated television series produced by the Vancouver studio of WildBrain and The Lego Group, based on the Lego Ninjago brand of construction toys. It serves as the sequel to Ninjago (2011–2022) and features the original series' regular voice cast along with new cast members. The series follows the aftermath of a phenomenon called 'the Merge,' which combined Ninjago with the other sixteen realms of creation, scattering the ninja and introducing new threats.

Lore & Background
Season 3 sees the Forbidden Five seeking five Prismatic Blades to free Thunderfang, the Shatter Dragon (also called the Chaos Dragon). The ninja search for missing teammates Jay, P.I.X.A.L., and Arin. In Season 4, Ras strands the ninja in three separate realms, and Lloyd learns new truths about his destiny as the Green Ninja. Elemental Monsters arise from destabilized Source Energy. The ninja later seek to destroy the Weapon of Desolation while the Merged Lands prepare a unification summit, threatened by the Loyalists reviving General Cryptor. (No mind-swap plot involving Empress Beatrix and Zeatrix is part of Season 4 canon.) No fifth season has been officially announced by The Lego Group or WildBrain.
