Florrie's Dragons is an animated children's series based on the book *Dear Dragon*. It was created by An Vrombaut, who also made *64 Zoo Lane*, and was produced by Wish Films, Clockwork Zoo, and Studio 100, with animation by Clockwork Zoo in South Africa. The show mainly aired on Disney Junior in the UK.
The series follows Princess Florrie and her five dragons. Together, they solve problems, come up with ideas, and blend enchantment with modern creativity. Florrie (voiced by Lara Wollington) is a little princess with brown hair, freckles, fair skin, a golden crown, and a magenta-and-yellow dress with matching shoes. The castle is run by King Ferdinand (voiced by Steve Edwin), who loves being in charge and makes lists for events. Chef Paprika (voiced by Felicity Duncan Smith) enjoys baking for special occasions. Wizard Casimir (voiced by John Vernon) can create anything from his cauldron. There is also Rattle, a tiny knight robot that makes rattling noises when he moves.
Florrie’s dragons include Dear Dragon (voiced by John Vernon), her best friend and sidekick who blows bubbles; Toot-Toot (voiced by John Vernon), who plays a trumpet with his nose; Splish-Splash (voiced by Sara Powell), a water-loving dragon that makes pretty waves; Pom-Pom (voiced by Candida Gubbins), a cheerful cheerleader dragon; and Zoom-Zoom (voiced by Steve Edwin), who flies super fast.
The series aired on Disney Junior in the UK and later on ITVBe’s LittleBe from 3 September 2018 to 29 August 2021. It also broadcast on MiniMini+ in Poland and KIKA in Germany. An Irish-language dub, *Dragain Florrie*, was produced by Macalla Teoranta in Dublin for TG4. A Bangla-dubbed version aired on Duronto TV in Bangladesh.
