Two Car (つうかあ, Tsūkaa), also known as *Two Car: Racing Sidecar*, is a Japanese anime television series centered on motorcycle sidecar racing. It was produced by Silver Link as part of the studio's 10th anniversary. The series aired between October 7 and December 23, 2017. The story takes place on Miyake Island and follows Yuri Miyata and Megumi Meguro, a sidecar racing duo who compete against other teams.
The series features a large cast of characters, including Yuri Miyata (voiced by Aoi Koga), Megumi Meguro (voiced by Aimi Tanaka), and many others such as Mutsuki Shimazu, Ai Makita, Nene Itagaki, Hibari Takada, Tsugumi Nakajima, Chiyuki Shiohara, Misaki Nagai, Izumi Murata, Nagisa Suzuki, Maria and Yuria Shishido (both voiced by Aya Suzaki), Kanae Kawamata, Tamae Kuribayashi, Mao Katakura, Hitomi Iseki, Arisu Amano, Kurosu Itō, Tanahashi, Yōko Higurashi, Hatsune Wada, and siblings Betty and Tina Birchall from the Isle of Man racing circuit.
A spin-off manga titled *Two Car Everyday*, created by dōjinshi artist Eromane, was serialized in Media Factory's *Monthly Comic Alive* from September 9, 2017, to January 27, 2018. A main manga adaptation also ran on Kadokawa's *ComicWalker* website from October 2017 to May 2018.
The anime was credited to Nikoichi for the original work. Masafumi Tamura directed it at Silver Link, with Katsuhiko Takayama supervising and writing the series scripts. Tiv provided the original character design concepts, which Yuki Sawairi adapted for animation. The opening theme "Heart to Heart" was performed by Sphere, while the ending theme "Angelica Wind" was performed by Void_Chords alongside Aoi Koga and Aimi Tanaka. Crunchyroll streamed the series.
Reception was mixed. Four editors from Anime News Network previewed the first episode. Rebecca Silverman praised the lush backgrounds and interest in sidecar racing. Theron Martin found the relationship between Yuri and Megumi potentially engaging but questioned its fit in the fall season. James Beckett commended the animation and CG in racing sequences but criticized the main leads' motivation tied to a romance with their unseen coach. Nick Creamer felt the show lacked drama or urgency in both racing and character interactions, calling it an easy skip.
