Turbo Dogs

Turbo Dogs is a Canadian animated television series adapted from Bob Kolar's book *Racer Dogs*. The show was produced by CCI Entertainment and aired in the United States on Qubo from October 3, 2008, to May 7, 2011. The story follows a group of canine friends—Dash, Mags, Strut, Stinkbert, Clutch, and GT—who learn about friendship, fair play, and teamwork while striving to protect their reputation as Racerville's fastest dogs.

Dash, a selfless and thoughtful beagle voiced by Lyon Smith, leads the Turbo Dogs with a fair and competitive spirit. He wears red and white with a blue number 1, and is tidy, hard on himself, and collects racing memorabilia. Mags, an American Cocker Spaniel voiced by Stacey DePass, is the only female Turbo Dog. She is responsible, cheerful, and speaks her mind, often serving as the voice of reason. Her colors are purple and orange with number 2, and she owns a pet hamster named Lulu. GT, a bulldog voiced by Dan Petronijevic, is a natural inventor and mechanic who can fix almost any car. He wears blue and white with number 3. Strut, a dachshund voiced by Joris Jarsky, is his own worst enemy, making big plans that often backfire. He breaks rules and takes shortcuts to win, wearing blue and yellow with number 5 and driving a six-tired car. Stinkbert, a Lakeland Terrier voiced by Hadley Kay, has a strong odor, likes garbage, and is cheerful and relaxed. His colors are chartreuse and goldenrod with number 6. Clutch, a Bernese Mountain Dog voiced by Peter Cugno, is a klutz who is closest to Strut and Stinkbert and often gets mixed up in Strut's schemes. He wears green and yellow with number 7.

Other characters include Cam, a beagle announcer voiced by Terry McGurrin, who flies above the track in an airship; Ump, a German Shepherd voiced by Ron Pardo, who serves as track official and flagman; Five, a pizza delivery dog voiced by Joseph Motiki, who travels by scooter; and The Chicken, who attempts to cross the road in every episode, narrowly missed by drivers. Marlene, a spaniel voiced by Shakura S'Aida, runs the shop where the dogs get their racing gear. Officer Sarge Gruffer, a retriever voiced by Ron Rubin, is a highway patrol member. Zanner Howler, voiced by Peter Cugno, is a young dog and Dash's biggest fan, while Fanner Howler, voiced by Terry McGurrin, is a small terrier who emulates the Turbo Dogs.
