Mister Ed is an American television sitcom that originally aired in syndication and on CBS from 1961 to 1966. The series centers on a talking horse who communicates only with his owner, architect Wilbur Post. It was developed by Arthur Lubin, who had previously directed the Francis the Talking Mule films, and was financed by George Burns.
