Track listing

Chris de Burgh wrote all the album's tracks except where noted. Three fresh songs, "In Love Forever," "I'm Not Crying Over You," and "One More Mile to Go," were created for it. The cassette version omits "Girl." Recorded live in a London studio over eight days in July 1995, every piece was captured in a single take.

Concert video release

In September 2005, de Burgh performed a concert at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, released as a 90-minute VHS video titled Beautiful Dreams Live. The first half was a solo set of songs from his career, including "Carry On", "Spanish Train", and "Don't Pay the Ferryman". The second half featured tracks from the Beautiful Dreams album with a full orchestra, such as "Missing You", "The Lady in Red", and "One More Mile to Go". The video was later released on DVD with bonus behind-the-scenes footage and music videos. The tracks "Girl" and "Shine On" from the album are not included in the video but may have been performed at the concert.
