Jazz won 60 games, Stockton became all-time assist leader.

The 1994–95 Utah Jazz season was the 21st for the franchise in the NBA and its 16th in Salt Lake City. The team added Antoine Carr and Adam Keefe in the off-season, struggled early, then won seven of eight games and posted an eight-game winning streak in December. A 14–1 January included a 14-game winning streak, and the Jazz held a 35–13 record at the All-Star break. They finished second in the Midwest Division with a 60–22 record, earning the third seed in the Western Conference and extending their playoff streak to twelve years. Karl Malone averaged 26.7 points and 10.6 rebounds, John Stockton led the league with 12.3 assists per game, and Jeff Hornacek added 16.5 points per game. Stockton became the NBA's all-time assist leader, passing Magic Johnson, and both he and Malone were named to the All-NBA First Team.
