A Time-Displaced Origin Story

The narrative of Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! is built around a temporal displacement that reshapes the world of Rush Dueling. Yuga Ohdo, the very figure who would go on to create Rush Dueling in the events of Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, is suddenly yanked out of his climactic duel against Otes and deposited in Mutsuba Town, a setting from an earlier era. There he finds himself working at the still-fledgling Goha Company under Yuna Goha, tasked with the seemingly impossible job of recreating Rush Dueling from scratch. Meanwhile, twins Yuhi and Yuamu, who run a small odd-jobs outfit called UTS, cross paths with Yudias Velgear, an alien who has journeyed to Earth specifically to comprehend Rush Dueling as a path toward a brighter future for his people. What begins as a collaborative effort among the three young protagonists spirals into something far larger: they become entangled in a protracted war raging on Yudias' home world, while simultaneously grappling with the ripple effects of Yuga's very presence in a past that was never meant to be altered.

Announced on December 17, 2021, the series was produced by Bridge and broadcast on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo from April 3, 2022, through its 151st and final episode on March 30, 2025.
