Blue Dragon Warrior

The Blue Dragon inheritor whose paralyzing gaze is both his curse and his weapon.

Shin-ah, the Blue Dragon inheritor, wields deadly eye powers feared by his village. Orphaned and nameless, he lived isolated until joining Yona's group, who accept him. Lore & Background

Shin-ah is the current bearer of the Blue Dragon's power, inheriting the ability to paralyze others with his gaze. His village feared this power, leading to his isolation and nameless existence. He was orphaned and lived alone until Yona's group found him and accepted him without fear. Unlike the other dragons, Shin-ah prefers using a sword in combat rather than relying on his eye power, which he keeps hidden behind a mask. He bonds closely with Zeno and his pet squirrel Ao, and like the other dragon warriors, he can summon protective shields to defend Yona in battle.

Reader's Guide

Shin-ah is one of the four dragon warriors bound to Yona, the reincarnation of the Crimson Dragon King. His power, inherited from the original Blue Dragon, allows him to paralyze anyone who meets his gaze. This ability made him an outcast in his village, where he was orphaned and lived in solitude. When Yona's group finds him, they accept him without fear, giving him a name and a purpose. In battle, Shin-ah prefers using a sword over his eye power, but he can also summon protective shields for Yona, just like the other dragons. His closest companions among the group are Zeno and his pet squirrel Ao.
