Tinker
The PRT classification for parahumans whose power lets them build technology that should not work.
Tinker is one of the twelve power classifications created by the PRT in Worm and still in use in the present day of the story. Tinkers have the ability to fabricate alien or advanced technology: their powers do not work through them so much as enable them to build, creating devices or altering existing ones well beyond the usual limits of education, knowledge, resources or physics. Most Tinkers have a specialty, an area of technology in which they work exclusively or better than others; some draw on real-world technical knowledge while others rely more on instinct. They are among the most flexible parahumans, since a Tinker can artificially take on any number of other classifications depending on specialty, and they can draw inspiration from other parahumans' powers or from other Tinkers' work.
