Sanne de Laat

Sanne de Laat (born 13 February 1995) is a Dutch archer specializing in women's compound events. She has earned multiple medals on the international stage, including a silver in the women's team event and a bronze in the individual event at the 2021 European Archery Championships in Antalya, Turkey.
De Laat has frequently teamed up with Mike Schloesser in mixed compound events. At the 2017 World Games in Wrocław, Poland, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals, and she was later knocked out of the individual competition by eventual gold medalist Sara López of Colombia. Two years later, at the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, De Laat and Schloesser took silver in the mixed team event, while she was eliminated in the individual event by eventual silver medalist Natalia Avdeeva of Russia.
In 2021, she competed at the World Archery Championships in Yankton, United States, in the women's compound, women's team compound, and mixed team compound events. The following year, she won the women's compound title at the Dutch National Indoor Archery Championships. At the 2022 World Games in Birmingham, United States, she was eliminated in her second match of the individual compound event by Sara López, who went on to win silver.
De Laat participated in the women's individual and mixed team compound events at the 2023 European Games in Poland, and in all three compound disciplines at the 2023 World Archery Championships in Berlin, Germany. She and Mike Schloesser won gold in the mixed team compound event at the 2024 European Archery Championships in Essen, Germany, and repeated that feat at the 2025 World Archery Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.
