Denise Altmann

Denise Altmann is an Austrian forward for Linköping HC in the SDHL and a member of the Austrian national team. She holds the SDHL record for most career points, topped the league in scoring five times from 2009 to 2015, and has won two SDHL championships.
Altmann started her career with EHV Sabres Wien, where she recorded 122 points in 32 EWHL games and won the league title in 2005. She joined Linköping in 2007 and has remained with the club ever since, amassing 563 points in 337 games over 13 seasons. In 2017, she initially retired but reversed the decision a few months later, returning to become team captain after five years as an assistant captain.
Internationally, Altmann was named best forward at the 2008 IIHF Women's World Championship Division II, helping Austria earn promotion. She received the same honor at the 2012 and 2017 Division I tournaments.
Her brother, Mario, plays professionally for EHC Linz. Off the ice, Altmann works as a nurse.
