Zeppelin Gunship

The airship over Isenstadt that carried Deathshead's Black Sun superweapon.

The zeppelin of Wolfenstein (2009) is the platform for the game's final act. Blazkowicz learns that a Nazi superweapon powered by Black Sun energy is about to be fired at Isenstadt from an overhead zeppelin, boards it, and finds that Dr. Alexandrov was the real traitor, only for Hans Grosse to execute him. Deathshead and Grosse pass into the Black Sun dimension and Blazkowicz follows; Grosse, in a battlesuit and wearing a second Thule Medallion, guards the machine that powers the superweapon, and Blazkowicz defeats him and destroys it. Deathshead escapes through the portal, but the explosion destabilises the zeppelin and cuts off every way into the Black Sun dimension. Blazkowicz parachutes clear and watches the airship crash into and destroy the castle; in the post-credits scene a wounded Deathshead crawls out of the burning wreckage.
