Gabriel Langlois, nicknamed Dancing Gabe, roots for Winnipeg’s Jets, Moose, Blue Bombers, and Goldeyes. His fame began in 1984 when he was spotted grooving in the stands at a Bombers game. By December 20, 2014, he had danced at his 1,000th pro hockey game in Winnipeg.

Early life
Gabriel Langlois was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Angelina and Louis Langlois. Diagnosed with autism at age three, he was institutionalized in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba at six. Non-verbal until ten, he learned to read and write in specialized classes in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba, taught by a nun. He returned home to St. Vital on July 8, 1974, and graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate in 1981.
