Rovello bianco
A nearly extinct Campanian white grape revived in 2003.
Rovello bianco, also called Greco Muscio or Aciniell’, is a white wine grape from Italy’s Campania region. It first appeared in wine writing in 1875, but nearly disappeared. In 2003, a partnership between the universities of Naples Federico II and Palermo, plus a local grower in Taurasi, brought it back with fresh plantings.
