Background

Riley Bidois' path to professional football started in the Western Springs U17 tournament, where his Golden Boot performance caught the eye of Wellington Phoenix scouts. He joined the Phoenix Reserves in 2019, having already played two seasons for Tauranga City in the NRFL Division 1. In 2020 and 2021, he suited up for Lower Hutt City, the Phoenix's feeder club in the Central League. The 2021 season was a breakout: Bidois scored 16 goals, making him the league's second top goalscorer, trailing only fellow Phoenix player George Ott.

That form earned him a first-team call-up in April 2021, when injuries hit the squad. He made his A-League Men debut as a late substitute in a 5–0 defeat to Central Coast Mariners. After a move to Dandenong City in NPL Victoria 2 in February 2023, Bidois signed with USL Championship side Loudoun United on 16 February 2024. He was released by Loudoun after their 2025 season.

In March 2026, he signed with Monterey Bay FC for the USL Championship season. On 1 September 2026, Bidois returned to Wellington Phoenix on loan for the 2026–27 season, bringing his career full circle.
