Background

Jericho is more than just a backdrop; it is a character in its own right, steeped in folklore and hidden dangers. The town has long served as a haven for individuals with supernatural abilities who cannot survive in the open world. This isolation allows them to practice their gifts without persecution, though it also breeds suspicion among the local normie population who often fear what they do not understand. Beneath the cobblestone streets and Victorian facades lie crypts and catacombs that hold the history of the region's most infamous families, including the Addams.

The woods surrounding Jericho are known to be treacherous, guarding ancient secrets about creatures like the Hyde. These elements combine to create a pressure cooker environment where old rivalries simmer just beneath the surface. The town’s layout is designed to keep its inhabitants contained while maintaining an air of mystery for outsiders. Bridges connect different sections of the community, often serving as boundaries between safe zones and dangerous territories.

Every building tells a story of survival, adaptation, and the constant struggle between light and dark forces that define life in this unique corner of the world.
