Sanders played for the Washington Redskins during the 2000 season. He arrived in Washington after having won Super Bowl XXIX with the San Francisco 49ers in 1994 and Super Bowl XXX with the Dallas Cowboys in 1995. His tenure with the Redskins did not result in a Super Bowl victory; his final Super Bowl win was with the Cowboys.
