Development

Dreamatrix ran a Kickstarter campaign through a proxy firm, Aurofinity, a few months before launch, asking for $25,000 to complete the game and pay for plug-ins in their custom engine. The campaign hit its goal on January 18, 2013, raising $46,536. With over $21,000 extra, players and reviewers thought that was plenty to finish the job. After it came out, people wondered where the cash went, since the game flopped completely.

Reception

The game was universally panned by critics, holding a score of 29/100 on Metacritic. IGN included it in a round-up of worst reviewed games of 2013, calling it an embarrassment. CD-Action gave it 10/100, stating an apology was owed to Kickstarter backers. LEVEL gave it 20/100, describing it as a crappy system and an unfinished, irritating action RPG demonstrating how not to make a game.
