Invincible Presents: Atom Eve is a 2023 video game from developer Terrible Posture Games and publisher Skybound Games. It draws loosely from the Image Comics spin-off comic series of the same name and its animated TV adaptation, but tells a self-contained story. Players control Atom Eve as she balances her final year of high school with her life as a superhero. The game blends role-playing and visual novel elements, and its soundtrack comes from Canadian electro-pop duo Milk & Bone.
In the game, players control Atom Eve and can customize her powers through a skill tree. The story branches based on dialogue choices, some of which are timed. Defeating enemies and completing quests earns experience points. Combat is turn-based, and the powers a player chooses affect which options are available. For instance, prioritizing powers that make conversations easier may leave Eve with fewer combat abilities. During fights, Eve can see what her enemies will do next and can counter by spending energy on her own attacks. Any leftover energy carries over to the next turn.
The story begins with a flashback: Eve defeats the villain Killcannon, and fellow hero Robot asks her to join the Teen Team. She returns home and reveals her superhero identity to her parents. A year later, while on patrol, Eve spots a green female alien but is interrupted by Killcannon. She starts her senior year of high school. The Teen Team stops a robbery by the Mauler Twins, aided by a pajama-clad hero calling himself Invincible. The next day, classmate Mark Grayson reveals he is Invincible, and they become friends along with Mark’s pals William Clockwell and Amber Bennett.
Eve later finds a student named Todd with a chemical bomb strapped to his chest. She can either defuse it in time or save nearby citizens, which leads to Todd’s death. Either way, she investigates the bomb’s origin. Her search is interrupted by a disturbance at a power plant, where she finds the green alien—Universa the Warrior Queen—siphoning energy. Universa claims her world is dying and needs Earth’s energy. Eve defeats her and destroys her staff, knocking her out. Robot takes Universa into custody, refusing to let Eve learn more. Eve’s investigation reveals her chemistry teacher, Hiles, built the bomb with help from the Mauler Twins.
