Reception
The game received generally favorable reviews on Metacritic. Pocket Gamer noted that the swordplay quality at higher levels does not match the polished piratical presentation, calling it a blemish on an otherwise charming downloadable fighter. Push Square said the swordplay in the final third detracts from the experience but praised the game's humor and design. PlayStation Official Magazine – UK remarked that the monotony might make players want to hit themselves with the controller.
