Liam Reddox
Canadian forward who captained Växjö Lakers in the SHL.
Liam Reddox is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League for the Edmonton Oilers and later captained the Växjö Lakers of the Swedish Hockey League. He holds dual citizenship in Canada and Scotland.

Playing career
Reddox played in the 2000 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Toronto Marlboros minor ice hockey team. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2002 Ontario Hockey League priority selection by the Peterborough Petes, appearing in four games as a call-up during the 2002–03 season. In his first two full seasons with the Petes, including his rookie year of 2003–04, he led the team in scoring. He participated in the 2004 IIHF World U-18 Hockey Tournament for Canada, where he is tied for second all-time in most goals in a single tournament, behind Connor McDavid. During his three years with Peterborough, Reddox played alongside Eric and Jordan Staal, Daniel Ryder, and Bryan Young. He was on a line with Ryder and Patrick Kaleta, and on the powerplay served as the second defenceman alongside Trevor Hendrikx, with Steve Downie on the wing. Over 208 games with the Petes, he recorded 86 goals and 124 assists for 210 points. In the 2005–06 season, he was an assistant captain to Jamie Tardif as the Petes won the Ontario Hockey League championship in the team's 50th anniversary. Reddox signed with the Edmonton Oilers on June 1, 2006, after being drafted by them in the fourth round of the 2004 NHL entry draft. His first professional season was with the ECHL's Stockton Thunder, then he moved to the AHL's Springfield Falcons for 2007–08. After one NHL appearance for the Oilers, he was returned to the Falcons. On November 14, 2008, he was called up from the Falcons, and scored his first NHL goal in his second career game on November 15, 2008, against the Colorado Avalanche. He was re-signed by the Oilers to a one-year contract on August 9, 2010. On May 24, 2011, he signed an initial one-year contract with the Växjö Lakers of the Elitserien. After eight seasons with the Lakers, four as captain, he left the club on April 4, 2019. In August 2019, he signed with the Belfast Giants of the UK's Elite Ice Hockey League.
