Ultraman Arc

Synopsis

Sixteen years before the series, kaiju attacks across the globe were suppressed by the Global Defense Force (GDF) in an event called K-Day. In Hoshimoto City, a giant horn-like object known as the Monohorn, the horn of the galactic beast Monogelos, remains stuck in the ground as a reminder.

The GDF opened SKIP (Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Prevention center) to work with the community on scientific investigations and evacuation guidance to prevent kaiju disasters. Yuma Hize, who survived Monogelos's attack but lost his parents, became a rookie investigator at SKIP's Hoshimoto City Branch, driven by his passion for kaiju biology and his enduring imagination. When a new kaiju attacked, the being of light Rution aided Yuma, and together they transformed him into Ultraman Arc to protect the city.
