Pat Jennings' journey to Tottenham began in June 1964, a £27,000 transfer from Watford that would reshape the club's fortunes. Over thirteen years at White Hart Lane, he played in 472 league games and 591 in all competitions, becoming the bedrock of Spurs' most successful modern era. His defining moment came in the 1967 FA Charity Shield, when he scored from his own area—kicking the ball from his hands and sending a punt that bounced over Manchester United goalkeeper Alex Stepney and into the net.
