Lore & Background

The game is set just after the Great War Against Chaos, two hundred years prior to the main Warhammer Fantasy setting. The player character is a personal champion of Magnus the Pious, who slayed the Chaos Everchosen Asavar Kul and is soon to become Emperor. Players choose from six character classes: a human soldier of the Empire, a High Elf mage, a Dwarf slayer, a Wood Elf scout, a Dwarf engineer, or a human witch hunter. The main campaign involves hunting down a Chaos sorceress named Helspeth Bale, who has cursed Magnus, and defeating her and her allies across Nuln, Praag, and the Realms of Chaos.
