The Bartlet administration is the fictional two-term Democratic presidency at the heart of The West Wing. It is led by President Josiah "Jed" Bartlet, played by Martin Sheen.
The show follows his senior staff in the West Wing of the White House.

Leo McGarry is chief of staff, with Josh Lyman as his deputy. C. J. Cregg is press secretary, and Toby Ziegler and Sam Seaborn write the speeches.
The administration ends with the election of Matt Santos, who succeeds Bartlet.
