Background

The siblings start new lives in the early 1960s: Allison marries Raymond Chestnut, Klaus starts a cult, Luther becomes a boxer, Diego is hospitalized after attempting to kill Oswald, and Viktor moves onto a farm with Sissy and her son Harlan. About a month after Viktor's arrival, Carl surrounds the area with police; Viktor is knocked unconscious, arrested and interrogated by the FBI, who take Viktor for a Russian communist after Viktor unexpectedly understands an interrogator speaking Russian.

In FBI custody Viktor is connected to an interrogation machine that delivers high shocks of electricity and is given LSD via eye drops; the hallucinations become flashbacks of life as 'Number Seven' under Reginald, Viktor's memories are restored, and the escape sends Viktor's powers haywire through the building. Believing the Hargreeves to be a Russian spy, the U.S.A. nukes Russia; Russia attacks back and an all-out war between the two countries sends a mother load of missiles at the U.S., causing the apocalypse. The results were catastrophic, with trillions of deaths and acres of rubble and destroyed landscapes.

This apocalypse was successfully prevented thanks to Five actively trying to stop the event from ten days prior and Ben Hargreeves sacrificing himself to save Viktor; thanks to Hazel, the apocalypse was reversed.
