Plot

The narrative opens with a community living in a sewer at an undisclosed location, possibly on Earth. Annalee Call, the character portrayed by Winona Ryder in Alien Resurrection, locates Ripley #8, a clone of Ellen Ripley also from Alien Resurrection, and brings her to a base of operations. Call informs Ripley about a new military operation on the science station Typhoon involving a hybrid Alien super soldier led by Dr. Trollenberg. When Ripley refuses to help, Call blackmails her into assisting.

At Typhoon, Dr. Trollenberg is approached by General Helm, who wants to shut down the project after Trollenberg requests cybernetic components. Trollenberg kills the general and his guards, then impersonates Helm by altering his voice. Meanwhile, a Predator arrives on the station intending to hunt the super soldier. Call, Ripley, and their crew infiltrate the station in disguise. After dealing with guards, they enter Trollenberg's lab, where Trollenberg kills two of Call's crew before a cloaked Predator decapitates him. The Predator, now visible, fights the super soldier, which is impervious to harm and can absorb metal objects to regenerate. The super soldier kills the Predator but causes a hull breach.

The crew escapes to their shuttle, the Carthage, taking Trollenberg's head, while the super soldier boards a science pod with alien chestbursters. In the pod, it works on a second near-complete super soldier. Call hacks into Trollenberg's skull and finds an interactive recording of John Connor from the 21st century, who explains that Trollenberg was a Crypto Terminator capable of assimilating among humans to establish a new generation. After Call logs out, three Predator spacecraft surround the Carthage, and three Predators teleport aboard, taking Ripley prisoner. The science pod reaches the Navy heavy cruiser Euphrates, where the prototype disembarks with a new super soldier. Call deduces that the Predators know of Ripley's genetic heritage and likely want her help against the super soldiers, and she decides to use the new information to their advantage.
