Filo's Island
A Filolial Queen hatched from an egg, she fights with wind magic and can shift between a powerful bird form and a humanoid girl.
Filo is a Filolial Queen. She hatched from an egg purchased from Beloukas, making her one of Naofumi's earliest allies, though Raphtalia is actually younger when introduced. Filolials are a monster species with various forms and abilities, not defined by a love of pulling carts. Because she was raised by a Hero, she developed into a Queen. In her Queen form, she is a large bird capable of flight—not a flightless owl—and possesses higher attack strength and speed than normal members of her species. She also has the unique ability to shapeshift into a young blonde girl with wings, retaining the strength of her true form.

Reader's Guide
Filo is the youngest of Naofumi's allies and serves as both a combatant and a mode of transportation. Her Queen form gives her high attack strength and speed, and her shapeshifting allows her to fight as a humanoid or a large flightless owl. She uses advanced wind magic and can learn techniques like Hengen Muso quickly. Her bond with Naofumi is strong, and she often vies for his attention. When traveling to Kizuna's world, she transforms into a Humming Fairy, gaining flight and singing-based magic but losing her physical strength. Players and fans should note that her favorite activity is pulling her custom cart, and she can be relied upon to make friends and gather allies.
