Plot
Ren returns from shopping, and Stimpy greets him, hands him his slippers and pipe, and heads off to prepare dinner. As Stimpy unloads the groceries—a strange assortment of food items and human organs—he comes across a whole chicken that he finds appealing. Just as he gets ready to bake it, the chicken comes to life and gazes at him with affection, prompting Stimpy to spare it. They dance together and nearly kiss, but Ren becomes suspicious and checks on them.
Ren demands his meal, but Stimpy begs him off, insisting the chicken has proposed marriage. Instead of chicken, Ren gets served cornbread stuffing with giblets, which infuriates him. The chicken then whisks Stimpy away to Las Vegas for a honeymoon. Two weeks later, they return to a starving Ren, who attempts to bake the chicken but is stopped by Stimpy just in time, even after Ren tries to pass off a football as the chicken.
The following day, Ren and the chicken read newspapers. When Ren sees Stimpy giving the chicken his usual comforts, he devises a plan to turn the chicken into sausages. Even after the transformation, Stimpy continues to treat the sausages as his spouse, driving Ren crazy. As a final tactic, Ren appeals to Stimpy emotionally and suggests a picnic.
Stimpy, too dim to catch on, agrees and waits at the picnic spot while Ren drives home to retrieve the sausages. Stimpy doesn't suspect anything until nightfall, when he hitches a ride home and finds Ren gobbling up the sausages. He sinks into a deep depression for six months, until Ren forces him to cook again. Ren makes the critical error of buying a goat head, which Stimpy immediately becomes engaged to once more, leaving Ren furious as the episode ends.
