Tarre Vizsla is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He is the ancestor of Paz Vizsla and the Mandalorian Jedi who forged the Darksaber, a legendary lightsaber. The Darksaber later becomes central to conflicts over the rule of Mandalore, as possession of it grants the wielder the right to claim rule over the planet. Paz Vizsla declares the Darksaber his birthright because it was crafted by his ancestor, Tarre Vizsla.
