Lore & Background
In the film backstory, David Webb was brought to a secret recruitment center in New York City and tortured for days before he became Jason Bourne. In The Bourne Ultimatum, Bourne enters Vosen's office, takes classified Blackbriar documents from his safe and, after a car chase with the assassin Paz, meets Pamela Landy at a hospital at 415 East 71st Street. Confronted on the roof, he is shot at by Vosen and jumps into the East River. The Bourne Supremacy also ends in New York City, where Bourne phones Landy and learns his original name, David Webb.
